There are several ways to clean a silk floral.
1. If your arrangement is dusty,
you can use a hair dryer placed at least 12" away from the floral,
set on low speed and low or cool heat.
This will blow the dust right off of your arrangement.
Note: before using the hair dryer, be sure there are NO loose pieces
as they will fall off during this cleaning method.
2. If your floral arrangement is heavily dusty or has a dirt spot on it,
you can spot clean the floral with water and dish soap.
Using a soft cloth and the soapy water, wipe the dirt off of the floral.
Let the floral air dry.
Note: you may want to test a hidden spot first to ensure that the
dish soap will not stain or alter the color of the floral before using this method.
3. If your arrangement is dusty, and you do not wish to use the hair dryer method,
you can use a static duster or a Swiffer duster to remove the dust.
We recommend the Swiffer duster as it picks up the dust more efficiently than
the traditional static or feather duster.
Note: if there are loose pieces in your arrangement, they may fall out during the dusting process.
The benefit of purchasing a silk floral is
silk flowers last longer than fresh cut flowers,
giving you the opportunity to enjoy your arrangement for years to come.
Additional benefits to owning a silk floral arrangement, instead of using fresh flowers,
are you are less likely to aggravate your allergies with silk flowers and
you do not have to remember to water your silk floral.
Silk floral candle rings can be used with pillar candles,
glass candle bowls with floater candles, hurricane candles, or your favorite jar candle.
Certain silk floral candle rings also make beautiful petite wreaths
for use in a powder room, small office, bedroom, or just about anywhere.
