Setting the Mood for Valentine's Day

If you are among one of us who will be celebrating Valentine's Day with your sweetheart, then you probably will be looking for ideas on how to set the mood.

Let's say that you are planning a romantic evening at home with your special someone. You will most likely start the evening off with a nice dinner, followed by a scrumptious dessert.

If that is the plan, then let us help you set the table to prepare you for the right romantic mood for your Valentine's day dinner.

It is easy to set a romantic table. Cut the lights, and place taper, pillar, floating, or nice looking jar candles in the center of the table. Make sure they are not too high as you want to be able to gaze loving into your sweetheart's eyes.

Next, prepare your music. Choose something soothing, and romantic that will allow for dancing. You will want something light enough that you both can talk over it, but romantic enough that it helps set the mood.

Finally...add some beautiful flowers to the table or place them in the living room where you both will most likely go after your romantic dinner. Remember to have candles waiting to be lit there. Keep the lights low, and add the glow of candle light to help set the mood.

Above all, enjoy your time with your sweetheart, and prepare to repeat these nights throughout the year.
