2008 Wedding Color Trends

The color trends for 2008 weddings are stemming from our ever growing desire to "go green".

Many brides are opting for more green shades this year. From pale greens, to earthy greens, to deep dark greens, you will find something for everyone, well for everyone who likes green!

In addition to the many shades of green, we are stepping away from the chocolate brown, yet not going back to black. Instead 2008 will embrace steel grey as the new black, or chocolate brown.

We will see more bridesmaids dresses in steel grey, but we will also see this shimmering shade of grey used in accents from floral arrangements to bouquets to the wedding invitations. Steel grey will be woven into the weddings of 2008.

As we move away from chocolate brown and the bright, vibrant colors of last year, we will move toward more traditional colors. White is becoming the main color this year! We will see a lot of white candles, soft white linens, white flower arrangements, bouquets, dresses, and lights.

Some weddings will embrace an all white decor, perhaps with a hint of steel grey or a lovely shade of pale green.

Keep your eyes open for lots of white, lots of beautiful shades of green, and steel grey for the 2008 wedding.
