2008 Trend in Wedding Bouquets

Every year a few flowers rise above all other flowers that are requested for wedding bouquets. Also, every year there are options that brides must make on whether or not they want fresh or silk flowers.

We are happy to announce that in 2008 silk floral bouquets are gaining in popularity. Many brides are recognizing the advantages of using silk for their bridal bouquets.

The main advantage of using silk floral arrangements and bouquets is silk will not wilt. If one is having a late summer wedding, or an early spring wedding, when weather temperatures are not ideal for fresh flowers, silk could be a great option so that one can capture beautiful outdoor photos without worrying about the flowers wilting from the cold or heat.

Silk also gives one the advantage of keeping the bouquet as a keepsake without having to spend a dime on preserving it.

Aside from silk floral bouquets becoming a popular selection for brides in 2008, we are seeing the rose hold it's popularity for the wedding bouquet, as well as, the reception centerpieces. Calla lilies and gerbera daisies are second in popularity. With the vibrant and cheerful colors of the gerbera daisies, and the romantic curves of the calla lily, one can see why they would be a popular choice among brides today.
