Trimming the Tree

The Christmas tree is the focal point for most of our holiday decorations, that is why some of us pour over ideas on how to trim the tree to make it perfect.

Fortunately, for those of us looking for new ideas, there are always new ones out there! From magazine racks to department stores, we can gather inspiration on how we might trim our tree for Christmas.

One of our favorite ways to trim a tree is to add silk flowers. You can use floral picks, or full floral stems to create a beautiful display throughout the tree. We like to use single stemmed poinsettias in multiple colors scattered throughout the tree. The flowers add a softer touch to the pine tree, and also will compliment your ornaments nicely.

If you are not fond of poinsettias, try roses, hydrangeas, or berry sprays.

Anything can be incorporated into your Christmas tree as long as it matches well with the ornaments, garland, and your other decorations.

As with most home decorating, trimming the Christmas tree requires nothing more than a personal touch.

Have fun with it, and if you need silk flowers for your tree or your home, contact us at C S Flowers.
